Naked at the chiropractor?

Are we get asked a lot of questions, but we have not had this one for a while. Today we were asked:

Do you have to get naked to see a chiropractor?

The short answer is, no!

When you come to see a chiropractor at Madison Healthstyle, we can assess you easily when you are wearing appropriate clothing.

Appropriate clothing means something like activewear,  gym clothes or comfortable clothing.

If you are wearing bulky or restrictive clothing, this can affect some of the movement testing that we do in order to properly assess you.

You also cannot be dressed for the ski fields, or scuba-diving for example. This will make it very difficult for you to moveAnd very difficult for us to feel what is going on with your spine.

When you come in for your regular chiropractic adjustment, We can deal with most clothing, including business attire and skirts (even the short ones) as we use a towel to extend the skirt and cover you appropriately.

Your comfort and privacy are our top priorities in these situations, and we will always do everything we can to help you feel at ease when you come to see us.

Our chiropractors are 5 year university trained professionals who will always go the extra mile to help you get the results that you want.

If you have any questions before you make an appointment to see one of our chiropractic team or even one of our awesome Targeted Remedial Massage Therapists you can message us through this website, or call us at your nearest practice by calling on one of the numbers below.

We look forward to seeing you in one of our convenient locations soon -- no matter what you are wearing!
